I've basically dropped out of the PCA, if the fact I haven't done anything in it for most of the year hadn't tipped you off to that yet. In its place, I have joined a vast number of other projects, keeping up with them with regularly. Some current projects include:
THE PROTECTORS OF THE PLOT CONTINUUM: These guys are awesome; in the interest of common sense, good grammar, and sensible fandoms, they have pledged a solemn vow to fight the Mary Sue and the Bad Fanfiction in whatever form they may take, and wherever they may lie. You can find the original series by Jay and Acacia at the first link below; the second link leads to the PPC forum and the third to the PPC Wiki, but I strongly suggest not going to either until you've at LEAST read the Original Series. It's kind of a rite of passage.

MERCURY CITY SUPERS: An original-universe superhero role-playing community, set up on a Proboards forum. Largely the brainchild of one excellent gal, it's a great little community that desperately wishes to be bigger. So stop by, see if it's to your liking, and help this little group become a real boy. Er--I mean a big group.
Also, most of their discussion goes on on an IRC channel, so if you want to get involved that's where you need to be. The server is irc dot blitzed dot org, the channel is #MCS.

AMERICANA: This was originally a /tg/ idea that made one showing on 4chan and was then forgotten by almost everyone. However, it's now living with a kindly Archivist (guess who) at a Wiki upstate, and slowly but surely he's been raising it to become a strapping young setting that'll make its father proud.
If any D&D fans actually read this stuff (hell, if anyone actually reads this stuff), it would make me very very happy to have you on the project. At the moment it's just me and a guy from Florida, and though I write damn fine fluff and he's damn good at number-crunching, our perspective on what America is like from the local's point-of-view is kind of limited, especially regarding the West Coast. If you want to help, drop me a line at the Gmail account listed below--I would love to have you on the team.

THE GAANG JR.: A Plus4chan original. This project, which is nearing its one-year anniversary (or maybe has passed it, I can't quite recall) is a most excellent attempt at making a children-of-the-Gaang (from Avatar: The Last Airbender) setting that is not only well-made, but enjoyable by everyone. There's very little in the way of rules and regulations, though at this point so much has been done that it may be difficult to just jump right in.
If this idea sounds good to you, by all means, join up! Most of the developments happen on Plus4chan's Avatar board, +/a/, so if you want to get in on the fun just head over there and look for the thread with "Gaang Jr." in the topic (as of writing time, the project is on its 39th thread!). There's plenty of art and writing right here on DA, as a simple search of "Gaang Jr." will show, but if you want complete bios and links to everything that's been done, the Wiki can serve your needs.
